Always up for a photo challenge (loved 365 project), I've decided that I will join the horde of blog and instagram fanatics and take up fatmumslim on her photoadayjune challenge. Lets see if I can make it all the way to 30 June (my birthday yay) as I have a little, gorgeous bundle of boy due 3 days later. If you're interested in tapping into your creative side below I've added the list of photo ops for June. Happy snapping xx

I know, the weekends not even over, so doing a weekend review seems kinda crazy. But when do pregnant women ever make sense? I have the luxury of being in the middle of a four day weekend atm. Hubs has no more classes on a Thursday and only one hour on the Friday which means he is home more and we can hang (he is one of my most favourite people in the world to spend time with).

Because I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant and the greatest whinger alive (sore feet, can't walk, tight stomach, super tired, hungry all the time) we haven't had much opportunity to explore our new home. Thursday Mr B decided that we were going to visit Hahndorf, come rain, hail or shine. We didn't discuss 6 degrees and bucketing down though!!! Not good Havaiana weather! Highlight - Lunch at the German Arms Hotel, my seat right next to the GORGEOUS warm fire place, and watching my husband devour a MASSIVE German Hotdog!!!!

Yesterday (Friday) I woke up at 12pm to find that my amazing husband had already cleaned the kitchen and bought me a beautiful bunch of flowers 'to brighten my day'. He also sat me down for a lunch of gourmet pumpkin soup, fresh rolls and macaroons (he has my heart), whilst he cleaned. And if that's not enough, he baked a surprise for afternoon tea - a really yummy lemon loaf, that annoyingly turned out perfect on his first ever baking attempt EVER and in our gas oven none the less. I know he's too good to be true!

Today (Saturday) and tomorrow, hubs is at a course for his study. I am currently getting a few episodes of Revenge so I can curl up on the couch with my blanket and a hot milo. Praying that the rain stays away so that I can wash my clothes. This weather is cursed, and I am running out of clean underwear quickly. Here's hoping that you all have a splendid weekend, wherever you are, whatever you may do.

They (whoever they are) say that the three most stressful things you can experience in your lifetime are a) Divorce b) Moving House and C) Having a baby. So do I get a prize for tackling 2 of those at once and not going totally bonkers? The above explains my total lack of blog commitment.

Friends have been asking for house piccies, belly piccies and blog updates for the last 4 months, and well you know that saying "It's like trying to get blood out of a stone", that applies here. My house still looks like a bomb has hit it, which if you know me means, I can't show you any photos because it's not absolutely perfect. Most days I am asleep on the couch and forget to take a belly picture - come on, I can't even remember how old I am these days. And blogging, well that requires some amount of brain power, and I'm pretty sure someone stole my brain and replaced it with Jelly and other soft, useless substances.

So taking baby steps, here is a small post about some of our latest happenings. Enjoy xx

Almost a mummy, with only 6 weeks to go, my husband spoilt me this Mother's Day past because he's so amazing! French Toast in bed (which is currently the couch as nothing is comfortable anymore). A gorgeous little homemade card from my son, even though still in the womb - talented kid! And a day at home busting our brains over our new puzzle (that sounds nerdy) with a much needed coffee and some divine macaroons. Love that man, he's a good egg!
